  • I did it!

I bought my Z 1978 280Z with several 240 conversion bits here and there. I spent today driving her from Toronto up to KW where I live. Dam I got a lot of looks. People love datsuns.

She's got a V8 swap in her. I've already got a handfull of tweaks in mind, needs some interior updating and i've got a new carb to put on as well. I'll start a build thread in the next few weeks.

Very nice, looks like someone spent some time on panel fitment and smoothing the body before paint.
          Which V8?

the car is very straight, all the panel gaps line up perfectly and the paint is new.

it's a chevy 305, so not great but it feels like plenty for now. very loud.

I took a few pics tonight to get a good "before" shot. Will try and get her back to the same location for pictures after each modification over the years to come. So far all the work I've done was to get the engine running more reliably.
