S30 windshield

I have done some more investigation into the availability of new windshields for S30 in Canada. I had recently purchased a windshield from my supplier and asked them to investigate if more are being made. He did get an update that his wholesale supplier was indeed ordering a skid load of Datsun S30 windshields. This skid would be a total of 60 pieces of glass. This wholesaler ( I was not given the name) then ships these windshields out to other smaller warehouses in Canada. This order in not due until October or November 2022. We should be able to preorder a number of windshields before the order gets here. The current price for the windshield is $250.00 tax in. I may be able to reduce this by placing a bulk order. This glass in made by a Chinese manufacturer that has a plant in the USA. We have no way of knowing where the glass will be made. It is 5mm thick (oe 7mm) and has a shade band. I have one of these windshields in my car and the band is not really noticeable unless you start to look for it. The shade band is larger on the sides of the glass and tapers out to almost nothing in the middle.

UPDATE!! My glass supplier has informed me that 7 windshields are on the way to Brantford. The price is the same with no extra shipping cost! That was $250.00 tax in. These windshields SHOULD be coming in a couple of weeks. I will update as soon as I have further information. I have 4 spoken for and there are 3 available. If you need one please contact me and I’ll add you to the list.

UPDATE !! 7mm thick windshields are now in stock. I have 3 available for a price of $300.00 each. These are still made in China but from another manufacturer. I’m not sure how many of these will be available in the future so plan ahead. I am also stocking the 5mm glass at $265.00 each. Next week I will have in my possession 2 of the 5mm windshields and 3 of the 7mm windshields all available for quick pickup.
